The NHS provides free health care for most people.  Some services we offer however are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges.  Examples include the following:-

To Whom It May Concern letters
Shotgun/Firearms Licences
Holiday Cancellation Forms
Medical for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, DVLA etc)
Insurance Claim Forms
Power of Attorney
Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
Private Sick Notes
Vaccination Certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and further information can be obtained from the surgery.

We do not carry out the following services:

Sports medicals, fitness to participate in activities such as marathons, sky diving etc.
Signing passport applications or verification of personal documents.

These services are available from a range of private providers without referral from a GP.
